The Raleigh County Horse 4-H Camp will be held July 30th-Aug. 2nd 2009. It is an overnight camp where
campers bring there horse with them. Any 4-Her regardless of where they are from can come as long as they
have a horse to bring and they have compleated the 3rd grade. Applications are due June 15th. It is a very fun
and educational camp with riding, showmanship, crafts, singing, and games. We will also have many speakers
and mini-clinics during camp covering the topics of equine health and first aid, equine nutrition and much more!

June 22-27 ARHA World Show Brings Together Top Ranch Horses and Riders More than 500 horses and 3,600
entries are expected to pack the fifth annual American Ranch Horse Association World Show, to be held at
Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn., June 22 to 27, 2009. Approximately $48,000 in awards is up for grabs,
including cash awards, tack, equipment and trophy buckles. High-point champions in the three divisions—Open,
Amateur and Youth—win a saddle from Reinsman and a custom Lone Star Silversmith trophy buckle; high-point
reserve winners will receive a headstall from Reinsman and a custom Lone Star Silversmith buckle.

The West Virginia Equine Association is proud to host a Large Animal Rescue Training July 11 & 12, 2009 at the
West Virginia Fire Academy in Weston, WV. The clinic is a two-day program for emergency responders as well
as horse owners and the general public.
Days End Farm Horse Rescue will be conducting the training and is a nationally recognized leader in the rescue,
recovery, care and treatment of horses and have extensive knowledge and expertise in helping large animals.
